history

The club can be traced back to 2005, when Sophie Fish formed Lancaster and Morecambe Ladies FC to provide an opportunity for females to play football in the district. Within twelve months Nick Barrett joined as chairman. Not long after, the club was approached by Morecambe FC, whose badge we now proudly wear. From one ladies team, the club has grown to encompass 10 teams across all ages from 7 upwards.

The junior section was started in 2018, and with Sophie and Nick as the driving force, supported by an enthusiastic committee of volunteers and coaches, we aim to provide a friendly environment for girls who want to play football for fun, friendship and fitness.
